I first noticed paranormal activity
when I was a child maybe at the age of 6 at a guess I use to see people and
just thought everyone else could. I remember playing with the other kids
outside our house and other children would play and join in. it wasn’t until
one day I saw people walking through the houses that I thought what is going
on, they looked like what I now as roman soldiers, with horses .I used to
ask questions but got the normal response! other people didn’t see them,
until I asked an old man who was a neighbor and he said that he saw them
too, his wife had passed away and I use to see her talking to him, when we
played draughts, the board game. From an early age I would hear spirit but
didn’t no what was going on, I remember clearly one day with a neighbor
chatting away and there was a lady behind her, with a dog, on a lead, these
were spirit people, and suddenly a dog ran out of the house, I saw this dog
,in spirit I believe) and I got bitten on the hand’s tried to explain but
,well you can imagine the response. There was lots of other experiences.
Some 15 years or so ago I moved in with my girlfriend and remember
poltergeist activity in the house, as well as someone walking across the
upstairs room etc. I more recently I moved into a farm which has 12 acres
and it is here that things livened up, poltergeists spirit ghosts etc, you
name it I think I have it here. I called in paranormal investigators and it
was from here that my development began, and I now am able to see, hear,
feel, smell sense spirit, there is so much here its hard to miss i.e. am
learning all the time and class my self as sensitive to spirit. My best
experience is when I see occasionally the light anomalies go to a medium and
look like they try to enter their aura or when spirit in full form does
this, and I can see them keep trying at times, I couldn’t believe it! it was
then it all began to make sense to me to ask a lot more questions
about all of this and one person said to me what is important is enjoy the
experience and find what your (me) place in the universe is. this sums it
all up for me. The group started with Lynne & Robin and me and is growing
all the time and I thank you all for helping me enjoy this wonderful
journey, and for your help which has helped me to see the bigger picture in
life I hope to one day help people in there bereavement ,although I am a
long way away, and too prove the existence of ghost spirits hopefully on
video camera. I could go on and on, and normally do! |

Born
and bred in East London. I have always had an interest in family and
social history. Several years ago I joined East Of London Family History
Society to help with my research and ending up being the Treasurer of
the Barking and Dagenham Branch. This led me to joining Eastbury Manor
House as a volunteer. This is where I met Robin and the team, I was
fascinated with the information that you can get from a spirit and with
my knowledge of researching I forced myself on the group and never
looked back. |

I have lived in Essex all my life and have experienced a few spooky
goings on at various locations around the county. As a child I saw
various spirits, but didn't know what I was dealing with at the time.
Life took over and I buried this side of me for a long time. It only
came out again when I started training to be a reflexologist. I am
slowly starting to open my third eye up again, but despite this I have
quite a logical way of looking at things and I don't presume that
everything unexplained is paranormal! Hence the qualification in
Parapsychology which enables me to look at things objectively and
study mental perceptions that seem outside normal abilities

As long
as I can remember, I’ve always been fascinated with the paranormal.
I remember reading articles about Borley
Rectory when I was young, as well as watching "Ghostwatch" in the early
nineties and finding it scary but at the same time intriguing. It’s only
recently though that a number of TV programs have reignited my interest
in the subject and prompted me to look further into it, and with my
realization that buildings and the history behind them is something I
like to know more about and understand, I jumped at the opportunity to
join Haunted Essex. I’m open-minded as to the possible explanations for
the different phenomena and hope to learn something from every
investigation!

From an early age I
have always been fascinated by the paranormal. Although I had not
experienced anything to my recollection as a child. When I was 16 I
moved from Essex to Cumbria to a Performing Arts Academy. The Academy
was a Glorious Georgian Mansion. It was undoubtedly haunted to some
degree. Everyone experienced something unexplainable. I found the
building and its history fascinating if what a little scary at times!
I’ve taken part in a one night Paranormal Investigation with Haunted UK.
I took part in séances and other various experiments. Even my
grandmother who died 2 weeks prior had made contact that evening. The
night only intrigued me more into knowing whether life after death was
true or not.
I have had other
experiences. I’ve even been known to go and carry out my own
investigations with a camera, torch and someone to hold my hand!! I love
the history of buildings. Anything that dates back that far has to have
some sort of energy or spirit just from the lives that have lived there.
I have a thirst
and passion to find out if life after death really exists. I have
always hoped for an opportunity to be part of paranormal investigation
team; To answer my questions, and if I can, prove its existence.

From an early age I have always been
fascinated by the paranormal. I have had a few “strange experiences”
however I can not explain what had happened to me.
When I was younger I wasn’t this normal
child that read children’s novels, I only really had interest in reading
about “haunted locations” and the “ghosts of England”.
I so longed to join a paranormal
investigation team, and this year my dream came true! I was given the
opportunity to work with Haunted Essex, one day I hope to prove that
there is life after death.

My name is
Ricki walker. I am a clairvoyant medium by night and a council worker by
day.
I have been interested in the paranormal since a young age. I had a few
experiences when I was young. I was encouraged to pursue my interests
by a lady called Esther, my partners aunt, who is also a medium.
I get great satisfaction working with spirit knowing I am helping
people and showing them that there is Life After Death.

We are a dedicated bunch of
local like minded individuals driven by the need to understand the unknown.
We fund everything ourselves and don't charge for our services and have
formed a club to do this as a hobby. We want to
